Description: Day-to-day management of diabetes can be confusing and overwhelming. At the upcoming Diabetes Self Management clinic at Wannamaker Drug, you can find answers to your questions. Registered Dietician, Amy Bridges, will cover a variety of topics including an overview of diabetes, diet and nutrition education, effective disease management, and steps for controlling diabetes. Participants will also be given the chance to ask the dietician questions. Light refreshments specifically prepared for diabetics will be served. This clinic is free and open to the community. Description: The Northeastern Rural Health Network along with Wannamaker Drug (Cheraw) will be providing FREE health screenings for the community! Screening will consist of the following: Body Mass Index (BMI), Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose (Sugar), Total Cholesterol, and Health Risk Assessment. For accurate results, please do not eat or drink anything other than water for eight hours prior to the screenings.
