Registered Dietician to Hold Free Diabetes Self Management Clinic

Day-to-day management of diabetes can be confusing and overwhelming. At the upcoming Diabetes Self Management clinic at Wannamaker Drug, you can find answers to your questions. Two different classes will be offered. A beginner class will be held on Saturday, March 26th from 10am -2pm and an advanced class will be offered on Friday, March 25th from 5-7pm. Both classes will be held at Wannamaker Drug’s Cheraw store located at 154 Market Street. 

Registered Dietician, Amy Bridges, will cover a variety of topics including an overview of diabetes, diet and nutrition education, effective disease management, and steps for controlling diabetes.  Participants will also be given the chance to ask the dietician questions.  Light refreshments specifically prepared for diabetics will be served. 

This clinic is free and open to the community.  Space is limited so anyone interested, please contact Lisa or Haley at 843.537.6188 to reserve a spot.

Upcoming Flu Shot Clinics

Wannamaker Drug will host two Flu Shot Clinics this year. Flu shots will be $30. There is no co-pay for Medicare Part B participants.

The first clinic will be on October 19th at our Chesterfield store located at 107 West Boulevard in Chesterfield. The clinic will be from 10am - 2pm. Our second clinic will be on November 4th at our Cheraw store located at 154 Market Street in Cheraw.  This clinic will also be from 10am - 2pm.

Wannamaker Drug encourages everyone to receive a flu shot this season.  Make plans to attend one of our clinics so you can “Beat the Bug with Wannamaker Drug!”
